Fetal Transducer Directions
DIRECTIONS
For complete instructions on transducer connections and placement refer to the Feta Monitor Operations Manual.
Apply a generous amount of gel to the transducer face.
Attach one end of the abdominal belt through one of the arms o the belt clip. If you are using the buttonhole belt, press one of the buttonholes over the button. Put the other end around the patient.
Locate the transducer for the best heart sounds.
Attach the other end of the transducer belt in a similar manner and adjust so that the transducer is held securely in place without causing discomfort to the patient.
Proceed with the monitoring.
